Location
Carnfield Hall is situated on the B6019 between Alfreton and South Normanton, 1 ½ miles west of junction 28 of the M1 (on the left side of the road travelling from the M1, and on the right travelling from Alfreton) and 500 yards east of Alfreton Railway Station. There is also a bus stop outside the main gate.
Coaches can park at the end of the drive through the iron gates on the hard standing area. Cars please turn left after the curved stone entrance into the car park.
Look out for the 18th Century curved Milestone at the end of the drive and wooden barrier, opposite EPC UK, Rough Close Works. You will see two big red private road signs. The entrance is on the right traveling from Alfreton, and on the left traveling from the M1.
